Whipshading, fine line and blackwork in Bogota
Hi, I’m cora.g (coraje, but with a g), cat mum to Bimo, Paco and Panchita, human to metal-loving dog Davii, graphic designer and tattoo artist. I founded Garavatto Tatau Studio in 2024, with locations in La Calera and Bogotá.
I specialise in fine line, shading, blackwork and whipshading.
I dance all the way down to Karol G, love the early hours with Pink Floyd, and sing “Gata bajo la lluvia” as if I were a cat in the rain. Like the story of “The Princess of the Red Shoes” (the Brothers Grimm), I could keep dancing salsa and merengue; I also used to run to “Vulgar Display of Power”.
I’ve never been able to stay on just one side, and in tattooing I want to explore everything: realism, microrealism, colour, traditional, neo-traditional and new school. Tell me, what idea do you have?
I believe in the awareness and presence an art like tattooing demands. I don’t copy other artists’ designs or tattoo in record time.
When you visit, you’ll find two spaces with very different styles growing together: Garavatto and Living Metal, music and tattoos.
Send me your references and let’s work on a unique piece.
